After a women's health doctor has a charged encounter with a volatile protester, she faces a morel dilamma she cound never imagine.
Julie had met the producers at a film festival, and was delighted that they brought her on to direct this very unusual approach to an abortion rights story. Working closely with Planned Parenthood and other experts for accuracy, the film was shot in 2 days in the Bronx.

Recommended to the producers by directing mentor Bethany Rooney, Julie sucessfully pitched MarVista Entertainment and Tubi execs to secure her first feature.
Starring Evelyn Giovine (Audrey's Children), Damon Dayoub (Stitchers, Monarch), Samuel Larsen (Glee, Shoulder Dance), Greg Finley (The Flash, Star Crossed), Judy Kain (The Morning Show, Mad Men), Stefanie Estes (Soft & Quiet, Tales from the Loop) and Raquel Davies (Chicago Med, Chicago PD, Rebel). Shot in 13 days on location in Arizona.

A woman lost in the woods after escaping an assault searches desperately for someone to help her.
During the Covid pandemic lockdown, Julie crafted a story set in an outdoor locattion, based on the fear of being alone. With her goal of telling a complete story in three minutes, she wrote, produced and directed the tale of a woman whose quiet reflection in the woods is dangerously interrupted.
Starring Brigid Brannagh (Army Wives, Runaways) the film was shot in one day in the Angeles Crest Forest with the Canon C300 Mark III, and Sumire prime lenses. (Thank you to Alliance of Women Directors and Canon USA/Burbank)

At the Spice Shop, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) continue to research the origins of the symbols on the cloth and may be getting closer to unlocking its mystery. Meanwhile, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) continues to be haunted by his past transgressions.

SOLANNA is a story about a young woman fighting against all odds to save one horse, but in doing so, she will expose an industry that slaughters roughly 150,000 horses every year in both Canada and Mexico. The numbers are grim, but every now and then, a bright spot of hope emerges. That is Solanna.
Peter's Ashes short film
After a beloved son and husband suddenly passes away, the three women closes to him have a knock-down, drag-out over what his final wishes were for his remains.
This dramatic comedy stars Dee Wallace (E.T., Cujo), Bree Turner (Grimm) and Emily Button (20 Weeks). Peter's Ashes was shot in Los Angeles in 2 days.
Julie's first short film wasn't made for the festival circuit, but to secure her first episodic directing gig. It worked.
